The Depa has so far trained some 1.2 million people interested in conducting online transactions since August last year, Nattapol said, adding that the training was offered through YouTube, Facebook, Classwin and Digital platforms. skill.
“The program has challenged suppliers to access digital technologies and apply them to their business. The program helped them select Thai digital startups and digital vendors suitable for their businesses,” Nattapol said.
He said the Transform Market Showcase 2022 was organized to show the success and potential of vendors who have accessed and applied digital technologies to enhance their commerce. The program will also play a role in transforming Thailand into a cashless society, he added.
The chief executive said Depa will expand the project to another 65,000 stores and build pilot digital marketplaces in 25 other provinces.
