Online Sales Manager, UK Sales – London

A rare opportunity to join the sales team of a top 5 UK publisher at a time of dynamic investment and growth. We are looking to recruit a senior online sales executive with good organizational skills to work in our fast-paced online sales team. Reporting to the Head of Online Sales, Kids and Adults, the role will include leading the day-to-day operations of the Amazon Print Account for the Special Interests Division and selling across consumer and special interest lists to others. online accounts. The role

Account management:

  • Manage daily Amazon account operations for the Special Interests Division
  • Work closely with the Special Interests Division team and Online Sales Manager to select and propose books for retail promotions in line with organizational strategy
  • Manage and grow your own accounts

Divisional Internal Responsibility:

  • Be the online sales team specialist on products of special interest to the division
  • Liaise with M&P teams regarding online sales promotions
  • Report to internal stakeholders on critical developments and updates
  • Work closely with M&P and Operations teams to manage supply and maintain site availability
  • Ad hoc internal projects relating to the IS division

Market analysis

  • Perform the necessary in-depth analysis to ensure we are dynamic on our frontlist and backlist.
  • Prepare and share regular and ad hoc critical market and business analyzes to update and educate stakeholders
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of client platforms and monitor trends to keep internal teams up to date.
  • Maintain records of sales data and compile data for regular reports to share internally

Support and administration of the team in line with other online sales managers:

  • Ad hoc administrator of the general and coverage team

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organized and knows how to prioritize tasks
  • Strong digital skills
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong communication skills
  • Mastery of systems such as Biblio, Nielsen, Cognos and Vista

Additional information

The role is a permanent full-time position and is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a 2 day in office / 3 day from home (or fully in office if preferred) hybrid work model . The office days allocated for this role are: Monday and Tuesday
