Katherine Sheridan has joined Tattersalls as Head of Online Sales. Sheridan, who holds a degree in law and European studies from the University of Limerick and went on to qualify as a barrister after passing the New York bar exam, is from County Clare. After moving to Australia in 2012, she started working for Magic Millions as a credit controller and later became head of operations, customer relations and marketing for Newhaven Park Stud.

Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said: “We are delighted to welcome Katherine to Tattersalls in the newly created position of Head of Online Sales. Tattersalls Online has quickly established itself as Europe’s leading online platform, achieving record prices and group success on the racetrack in 2021, while providing a versatile alternative to our conventional sales schedule. Katherine brings with her a wealth of international experience and will be a great asset to the team.

Katherine Sheridan said of her new role: “I am delighted to be appointed Head of Online Sales and honored to be associated with the prestigious Tattersalls brand. It’s an exciting time to take on this role, as the international blood horse industry has seen unprecedented growth in online Thoroughbred sales in recent years. Tattersalls Online has quickly gained the trust of sellers and buyers across all market sectors, and I look forward to growing digital sales within the Tattersalls Group and providing the best possible service to those looking to branch out into this market by full growth.
